Portsmouth Robotic Hernia and AWR Masterclass

We are delighted to welcome you to Queen Alexandra Hospital for this, our second robotic abdominal wall course. The focus of the course will be on building your knowledge of minimally invasive abdominal wall surgery and developing your technical skills of repairing common hernias using the da Vinci platform. This will be achieved through a comprehensive series of lectures, live surgical case observations and immersive technical training within our wet-lab. We intend for you to have as much hands on experience as possible across the two days and you will have the opportunity to perform the following procedures under the guidance of our expert consultant faculty:
– rTAPP Inguinal Hernia Repair
– rTAPP Ventral Hernia Repair
– TARUP/TARM Ventral Hernia Repair
– eTEP Ventral Hernia Repair
– TAR
