Jackie experienced incisional hernia following previous abdominal surgery and now uses her experience to help promote best practice in hernia surgery. She is proud to be a patient representative on the board of British Hernia Society and also sits on the AWR and PPL subcommittees to ensure that the patient voice is fully represented. Jackie runs a successful Facebook support group for patients living with hernia and is committed to improving patient outcomes for everyone living with a hernia
