Lawrence Nip
Lawrence Nip is a surgical registrar in the South Thames Deanery, currently out of programme as a Research fellow at the Abdominal Wall Unit in Croydon and PhD candidate at University College London. His academic work focuses on novel mesh technologies for hernia prevention and complex hernia repair for which he has been awarded funding from key industry stakeholders.
Lawrence regularly attends and has spoken at national and international conferences. He has experience publishing in mainstream hernia and other surgical journals. Beyond academic and clinical commitments, Lawrence also serves as the trainee representative for the South Thames Deanery, advocating for the professional development and welfare of surgical trainees in the region. He is deeply committed to improving patient outcomes and advancing innovation in abdominal wall reconstruction.
