Mary Mancini has been a public and patient collaborator since 2013 and has been a co-applicant in health and social care research in projects in mental health, parenting of children with learning difficulties, data in research, methodology, trial improvement, Al, cancer and multimorbidity.  Originally from Italy and now living in Exeter, Mary has contributed in writing papers, articles, books, guidance, sat in interviews panels, spoken at conferences and facilitated focus groups and workshops mainly in promoting the importance of PPIE not only in research but also in public and community services.  She is also a NIHR public reviewer for applications for funding and brings extensive experience to
