After graduating with a Bachelors of Science from Queen’s University and a medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons, Josh De Marchi went on complete his surgical training in Ireland. Throughout this period, he pursued a Masters of Surgery and a Diploma in Health Professions Education. He became a fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons in 2022 for General Surgery and completed a colorectal fellowship at the University of Toronto with a focus in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He now works as a post CCT fellow in abdominal wall reconstruction at the North Devon Specialist Abdominal Wall Centre.
